ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Stan and I am 30 years old young man from Slovakia. My major is Computer Information System (CIS). However, at the same time I am taking classes of Webmaster certificate and Programming certificate.


This class is for my WebMaster certificate. I had already taken Internet, E-Commerce, and HTML classes. This is actually my fifth semester. In the first two semesters, I took only ESL classes, but after those two, I was ready to take my CIS classes.


I came to America four years ago as an au pair. I have never learned English before so it was hard for me at the beginning. I am not saying that my English is perfect, but I can say I have improved a lot and I am still working on it every day. I have always loved computers. I read a lot about them, but I have never had one, so I really picked up my computer skills here in America as I did my English. At the age of 27 I finally had an opportunity to study something what I was really interested about.

I liked all my classes before and I already like this class too. I hope I will learn how to design really good web sites and how to publish them. I love to learn new things and this is the best way to do it. When I will get a degree and some certificates I would like to go back to Slovakia and find a good job as a webmaster.


I hope to earn a bachelor's degree to achieve a personal goal.
